Sinopsis

Daphne Sheldrick devoted her life to mothering elephants.

From a young age, she was entrusted with the care of injured and abandoned animals. As an adult, she and her passionate team nurtured countless elephants back to health.

When a tiny, milk-dependent calf named Aisha arrived, Daphne faced her greatest challenge yet.

No one had ever hand-reared an elephant this young, but what she learned during their time together would revolutionize how future orphaned elephants were cared for-and fueled her dream of returning them to the wild!

A picture book celebrating the life of a pioneer in elephant care. It's a wonderful story for Kids 6-9 (perfect for your nature loving child).
