Sinopsis
Patricia is a PPP, Perpetual People Pleaser, and it's getting old. She just wants to feel seen and appreciated by those around her, but no matter how much she does for other people, it feels too often as though they look right past her. Her job may be at risk, too. Her days are taken up by other people and their needs, so why is she lonely?
Her husband, Jerry, chooses that moment to take her on a rare vacation to a sleepy-looking little town on the California coast, and surprise! He's bringing his mother, Evie, who has never seemed to like Patricia much, and Evie's dachshund, Midge. Once Patricia becomes famous, accidentally, navigating her new-found fame makes her consider if she really is the person she's been presenting to the world.

Acerca del autor
Jodi Jones is a pen name of Joey Jones. She has published and edited many newspaper and magazine articles, radio stories, advertisements and commentaries, and has ghostwritten everything from speeches to love letters. She is a past Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting semifinalist and Fade In: Screenwriting Awards quarterfinalist. Her first novel, Really (Almost) True Story, was a semifinalist for the Screencraft Cinematic Books competition.
