Sinopsis
"அன்பின் வழியது உயிர் நிலை" என்பார் வள்ளுவர். அன்புடையோரே உயிருடையார் என்பது அவர் கருத்து. நம் குறிக்கோள்கள் நம் வாழ்க்கையை அழகுபடுத்தி, நெறிப்படுத்தி, மற்றும் நம் செயல்களை ஒருமுனைப்படுத்தி, அதற்கொரு மதிப்பை அளித்துவிடுகின்றன . குறிக்கோள்கள் பலவாக இருக்கலாம். அவற்றுள் தலையாயது அன்பு செய்தலே. அன்பின் வகைகள் பலவுண்டு . அவற்றினுள், மிகத்தூயதும், மிக்க இனியதுமான ஒன்று, இறைவனிடம் பேரன்பு பூண்டிருத்தலே. இவ்வுலகம் இறைவனின் பேரன்பு ஒழுகியோடும் ஒரு பெருநதி என்பதில் ஐயமேதுமில்லை. இவ்வன்புநதியில் மூழ்கியெழுந்து ஒரு பெருவாழ்வு வாழ்ந்தவர் நம் நம்மாழ்வார். இப்பேரன்பின் பெருமையை தமக்கு உணர்த்தி அதன் வழியே இவ்வுலகினோர் அனைவர்க்கும் உணர்த்தவே இறைவன் தமக்கு அன்பு கலந்த நெஞ்சத்தையும் அறிவுசெறிந்த உணர்வையும் தந்தருளினார் என்கிறார் தம் "திருவாய்மொழியில்". இத்தகைய பெரியோரே, உலகம் முழுவதும் பரவும்படி, தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு “இது ஒரு ஆன்மீக பூமி” என்ற அடையாளத்தை அளித்தவராவர் . இவரின் பெருமையை உலகினுக்குணர்த்தவே, நம் ராமானுஜர் போன்றோரும் நம்மாழ்வாரைத்தம் ‘தலையாய ஆசிரியர்’ என்று அறிவித்தனர். தம் கோட்பாடுகளை, இவடைய உபதேசமொழிகளை உள்வாங்கி விவரித்தனர். இவ்வமுதமொழிகளின் ஆயிரத்திற்கும் , நம்முன்னோர்கள் எழுதிய விரிவுரை களிலிருந்து, ஒரு இருபதுக்கு மட்டுமே, அவ்வுரைகளின் அடிப்படையில், எளிய தமிழில் எழுதப்பட்ட விளக்கவுரைகளின் தொகுப்பிது. அன்பு வெள்ளம் பெருகட்டும்.
