Acerca del autor

Jose M. Yrizarry is a teacher/counselor turned writer, poet, environmentalist, entrepreneur, and lifelong advocate for truth and justice. Born in 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, to a proud Puerto Rican family rooted in civic duty, he was raised in a community that valued integrity, faith, and the belief that liberty and justice were for all.From a corporate office in the now-fallen World Trade Center, as a father looking back on the hometown he thought he had left behind, Jose witnessed the rising despair fueled by violence, addiction, and gentrification. It was then he chose a new path-leaving behind the trappings of corporate life for one of service, activism, and writing.Through thought-provoking articles and poetry, he gives voice to the voiceless: the sick, the suffering, the persecuted, and the forgotten. His work seeks to awaken hearts, minds, and eyes-to confront injustice and speak truth with urgency and compassion.For the children of tomorrow, for the silenced, for the hope of change-Jose writes to make a stand.
