Sinopsis

Upon arrival, Mickey instantly looks to Father for guidance; thus, his farm chores are done to perfection. He becomes very confident, especially in keeping the raccoons away from the corn, not allowing them to steal it the night before harvest as they usually do. Unfortunately, his pride controls him, and he leaves the straight and narrow for the broad path that leads to his misadventure-and his subsequent fear and guilt. He falls to the depths of despair, fearful that his error will cost him the love of Father. Readers of all ages will identify with him on some level, and adults will recognize the spiritual symbolism in Mickey’s heartwarming tale.

Acerca del autor

For over twenty-eight years in both the United States and Canada, Sandra was blessed to interact with the hearts and minds of students from kindergarten through junior college. She believed there was always "a way" with even the most difficult learners; thus, her students saw language arts as a route to personal growth and meaningful, interactive encouragement. Under her leadership, their growth earned them awards and commendations; therefore, in recognition of her innovative approach, the Commonwealth \\\Youth Service Medallion was presented to her along with Canada's Hilroy Fellowship.
