It Can Happen to Anybody!: When God Uses Ordinary People for His Extraordinary Purposes - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Do you ever feel like you are not “qualified” enough for God to use you? Perhaps you think you are too uneducated, too broken, too afraid, or simply too ordinary for God to choose you to advance His kingdom on earth.

If you have ever felt that way—if you feel that way today—you are not alone.

Throughout history, both modern and biblical, God has revealed to us that He doesn't need perfect people to accomplish His perfect will. Instead, He calls those whom He desires to use for His purposes, often choosing the unexpected or the “unqualified” to be His man or woman for an ordained moment in time. Why? Because God truly delights in using ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary purposes.

The ten figures from the Old and New Testaments whose lives are unfolded in this book prove that God uses those who say yes to Him, regardless of their circumstances or background. These heroes and heroines—some deeply flawed, others quietly faithful—all had one thing in common: they made themselves available to the King of Kings, and He used them for His glory. Chapters include “The Reluctant: Moses,” “The Fearful: Gideon,” “The Outsider: Rahab,” “The Impulsive: Peter,” “The Disgraced: Mary Magdalene,” and more.

As you read about the life-transforming events that occurred in these individuals' lives, let one thing be emblazoned upon your heart: God is not looking for your strength; He is looking for your surrender. It Can Happen to Anybody! is a testimony to how God uses the “unqualified” and “commonplace” to further His plans for us and for the world. Will you say yes to God as well?
