Upon her eighteenth birthday, Rose wakes up to a gift with a mysterious note from "Father." When a car loses control, Rose somersaults over the car, a flash blinds her before she touches the pavement. When she looks up, Rose finds herself in a different world where there are these beings called, "magicals." In this new world, technology died on December 31, 1999. Roses comes across rebels who oppose the reign of King Chester, a malevolent magical who overthrew Queen Elizabeth II into exile. Will the band of rebels with Rose's amulet be enough to stop King Chester's reign of tyranny?

Note: This is a novella of 22,182 words. It is for tweens on up. There are fighting scenes, but they aren't too gory. And there's only a hint of romance.
