In this Family Fun series, we follow characters through their daily adventures while learning essential word families! Pat, Ren, and Pam are best buds. Along with their pets, the pals explore the great outdoors as well as get into capers at home.

Volume 1 contains the first four stories of a 25-story collection. Each story is 8 pages long with corresponding original artwork. They are written to fall within the 10L-100L Lexile range. Each story engages young readers and helps them focus on basic word families that will help them build up their phonics skills. The volume's four stories include: "Pat and the Pad", "Pam and the Pan", "The Cat and the Nap", and "The Bat and the Cat".

Phunics is designed to help students master phonics sounds at every level.
