Sinopsis

Communities are a perfect example of something greater than the sum of its parts. The online poetry community Allpoetry brings together the poets in this book – the “we” helps each of us express our “I.”

“It takes a village” is a commonly used phrase about raising children, but it’s true in other aspects of life as well – we build upon each other. One person’s brilliance helps inspire and lift up the other members. There is less “me” and more “us.”

These poems celebrate this sense of community while also be tempered by the individual expression of each poet. I hope you can enjoy and celebrate these poems as much as I have been.
