I love you!
I thank you!
I need you!
I do not know what I do not know!
I love every person, unconditionally, no matter what!
Perfection is progress. If I am giving my best to this present moment, where my life is ending as it is beginning anew each moment, I am progressing towards my goals. I believe that is perfection for any person, anywhere, anytime.
I have found hints of this power of the present moment in every belief system, culture, philosophy and religion. Every past moment is dead, an infinite well of lessons, but dead. Every future moment is my pure potential. Right now, right here, is where my life is ending as it begins. What can I do, in maximum service in this moment, to reach my goals, based on lessons from the past.
I do not know what I do not know. I start each day, live each moment, and end each day in the freedom of this belief. And a commitment to be the constant change that I am. Learn, grow, and change, as life is only change.
I love every person, unconditionally, no matter what. The most important lesson the challenges of my life have awakened in me. I am unconditional love. Love is my health. Love is my balance in my doing and in my being. Love is the homeostasis of my oneness as body, mind, spirit, sould, umwalt are my one brain. All the principles in this book are who I have always been. I come home to who I am, each moment, and just be me. The best me. Each moment. My perfection, each moment, is my progress.
This book is about the principles I have found, from around the world, and how I turned them into mostly first person self statements. I began writing these statements in the early 1980's. My first book, "I love you! I thank you! I need you!" contains several hundred of these affirmations and as many of my drawings as well. My life motto is "Draw, Write, Lead".
My mentors helped me learn the power of focusing only on how I am being the change I want to see in you, the change I want to see in my community, and the world. And seek help to do that from every corner of the earth. I have learned that I always have more in common with every person, belief system, and religion, than different. I want all points of view at my table, in equality and mutual respect.
Undiagnosed autism, learning challenges I still do not understand, and other traumatic challenges of my life, required me to find creative ways to survive, thrive and succeed. Along the way to here I became addicted to drugs, earned a federal felony record and term in prison, went to war in Vietnam and came back suicidal.
I vowed to succeed in 1980. Today, at age 71, I live a life no one could have imagined for me. Diagnosed finally, at age 54, with Autism and Post Traumatic Disorder, I got the help I needed. I have been in recovery from addiction for nearly 42 years.
I am a full time volunteer, mentoring drug addicts on what I have learned about success in every area of my life against all odds. I am retired, but, I am more productive and of more service each year!
