Counseling Research and Program Evaluation: A Multidimensional Approach to Culture and Epistemologies equips counselor educators with a fresh perspective on research methodologies by integrating a multicultural lens. Through culturally diverse case studies and evidence-based examples, the book enhances reader understanding of research design while addressing ethical considerations in research, literature review, and a range of methodological approaches-including quantitative, qualitative, and action research. It also explores emerging directions in culturally responsive research practices and their implications for the future of the counseling profession.
More than just a guide to conducting research, this textbook teaches readers how to critically read and evaluate research through a discerning, culturally aware lens. Each chapter includes practical examples and guiding questions that help readers identify appropriate applications of research design in real-world counseling contexts. The text is designed to support doctoral and master's degree courses for programs of various counseling disciplines.
