Sue K. Adams, Ph.D. earned her B.A. in psychobiology from Wheaton College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is a professor at the University of Rhode Island in the Department of Human Development and Family Science. She is the co-owner of a private psychotherapy practice, The New England Center for Anxiety.
Sarah W. Feldstein Ewing, Ph.D. earned her B.A. (Macalester College) and Ph.D. (University of New Mexico). She is Endowed Professor and Director of Adolescent Neuroscience Center for Health Resilience (ANCHoR) at University of Rhode Island. She serves in honorary and affiliate roles at the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research (Denmark) and Laureate Institute for Brain Research. She specializes in utilizing translational approaches integrating developmental neuroscience with clinical interventions to improve interventions for young people.
