Featuring contributed chapters from experts in the discipline, the book offers a multifaceted approach to understanding the real-world application of school counseling principles.
The text begins by establishing the importance of school counseling and student wellness, then progresses into the application of learned theories in a practical setting, covering topics such as ethical considerations and data-driven processes. Subsequent sections delve into specific strategies to meet diverse student needs, addressing crisis management, trauma, and the integration of technology and social media in school counseling. It concludes with guidance on professional development pathways for school counselors.
