Penelope Prime has the gift of rhyme. She invents rhymes from every type of word! Connected to herself, her environment, and the forces of infinite intelligence, Penelope creates colorful works of art that transform the world into a beautiful place.
But as much as she loves creating rhymes from her cozy treehouse, Penelope grows discontent and wonders if she can get more with her gift: money, fame, and stuff. To realize her new dreams, she needs to find a way that her rhymes can be manufactured and sold, so she opens a factory.
The factory brings great sales, but she has trouble keeping up with the demand until she comes up with another idea. She'll put a rhyming machine to work!
The machine works remarkably well - so well that Penelope soon relies on it completely and forgets about the inner depths of her mind. Instead of creating rhymes, Penelope lets the electronics take charge while she lounges by the pool all day, becoming increasingly distracted and disconnected from what makes her special.

Acerca del autor
Amy Veltman-Cullen is a former third-grade teacher who uses her stories to illustrate the power each one of us holds inside. Now, working at a Chicago law firm, her train commutes are filled with imagination and creativity. When not working or writing, Amy loves attending Broadway shows with her daughter, gardening, participating in Toastmasters, and sharing her stories within her community. In her book Penelope Prime, Inventor of Rhyme, Amy hopes to inspire her young readers to tap into their minds' unlimited power while staying connected to their innermost, authentic selves.
