Ras Adé-Afrika, born Eddison Skerritt, in Trinidad, West Indies, is a language enthusiast and seasoned poet, with a BA in English Literature and an MS in Education. He taught English language arts and communication skills in NYC public high schools for 35 years. Ade-Afrika is committed to a world of peace and justice, and the liberation of all sentient beings. His other major interests include yoga, music, natural living advocacy, and Pan-African culture. A Singular Eternity reflects his diverse passions, and focuses a loving, poetic lens on our contemporary life.
