This book is about a condition that is sweeping the nation called Stress. Chronic Stress can be viewed as a syndrome in which individuals may unconsciously limit themselves, convince themselves that they cannot achieve their true desires, wishes and dreams because of Stress. This book is about how Stress manifests itself in the lives of normal people. As a psychologist, I have challenged my patients’ beliefs, attitudes, and perceptions which may, at times, keep individuals restricted, constrained, and curtailed…and have reached epidemic proportions. As individuals who read this book, I think you will recognize either yourself or others who may have become victims to unwanted Stress. This book will guide you to seek ways out of the Stress trap. By utilizing the tools and techniques described in this book, it will enable the individual to change old patterns and embark on a whole new way of life. I am writing this book as a psychologist to Executives, and others, and as a human concerned about how Stress has affected many generations of individuals. My sole concern is to outline a plan based on psychology, biology, environment, and the work of many professionals dedicated to helping individuals to overcome their self-defeating thoughts and behavior relative to Stress. I have spent some 35-years observing and treating Stress in individuals, and I find this work an invaluable source, guide, and model.
