All of the coloring pages are based off of projects made on 40 and 48 needle circular knitting machines. Use crayons, markers or colored pencils to color the pages, and follow the directions on the sides to knit the hats. The coloring pages only show the exterior sides of the hats. Please follow the directions on the side for how many rows to knit for the interior color before following the coloring page, from the bottom to the top. In general, it works well to use the same color for the interior that you are using for the bottom row of the exterior.
