Of One who set out to do Science (Salt Junkies) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Where do I come from, where am I going, when will I finally arrive? Through the eyes of a child, the author contemplates the tragic-comic moments of his early youth in the countryside, finds his inner self in the fug of a military barracks, and makes a belly landing in the country of limitless options as a naïve Austrian medical student, with ambitions for more. Yale drives him to many a grotesque fling, his family always in tow. With self-irony and a constant thirst for research, he survives in the shark tank of European academia and finally returns to the mountains to let his thoughts run free.
