“Regarding the observant foreigner (ha nakry), who (‘asher) is not of your people (lo’ min ‘am ‘atah), this Yisra’el (Yisra’el huw’): He will come (wa bow’) from a distant country and time (min ‘erets rachowq) for the purpose of being a witness, providing answers regarding (lama’an) the importance of Your name (‘atah ha gadowl shem) and Your influence (wa yad ‘atah), along with the leader (ha chazaq (speaking of David)) whom You will extend (‘atah ha natah) – the protective ram who will shepherd the flock (zarowa’ huw’).

When he arrives on the scene and chooses to pursue this (wa bow’), then he will help interested parties reconcile their relationship by providing those who exercise good judgment with the information needed to make a decision (wa palal) on behalf of the family (‘el ha beyth ha zeh).

When you hear this from above (wa ‘atah shama’ min ha shamaym) where you live (min makown yashab ‘atah), then engage and act accordingly, doing everything (wa ‘asah ka kol) which, to show the way (‘asher), the observant foreigner from a different ethnicity and geographic location (ha nakry) has invited you to read (qara’ ‘el ‘atah), for the express purpose of being a witness who provides answers such that (lama’an) every person on Earth (kol ‘am ha ‘erets) will have an opportunity to become familiar with (yada’) Your name (‘eth shem ‘atah), coming to respect You (wa la yare’ ‘eth ‘atah) along with Your people (ka ‘am ‘atah), Yisra’el (Yisra’el).” (Dabarym ha Yowmym / Words of the Days / 2nd Chronicles 6:32-33)
