For over 20 years, John R. Daab wrote a newspaper column for his local weekly newspaper. It turned into a personal-essay column in which he discussed pets, flat-earthers, the chore of cleaning the fridge, his preference for manual typewriters, his passion for Italy, his memories of growing up in the Fifties and going to college in the Sixties, and any other topic that caught his fancy.
