Sinopsis

Greg About The AuthorGreg Strawn was born in Redondo Beach, California, immersed in the surfing and skateboarding culture of the nineteen sixties and seventies. This environment was tempered for him by the religious and spiritual teachings of his parents. Together, his religious up-bringing as well as the Southern California beach culture both had powerful influences over him. They inspired him to consider many aspects of existence, and then to record his thoughts as poetry. He has been writing poems persistently since he was a teenager. Greg married Sandy MacKay in 1984, and they now have five children, five children-in-law, and ten grandchildren. His marriage to his wife is the most important and pivotal event of his life. His favorite places to vacation are located beneath the canopies of the redwood forests of Northern California. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Education from California State University, Long Beach and a Master’s Degree in English with an emphasis in writing poetry from California State University, Sacramento. He currently teaches high school and college English in Northern California.
