There is much confusion about the five-fold offices of the church. I have designed this book to clear up some of the disorder and misinformation, however, this book is by no means exhaustive.

We have seen a period where many recognized the Evangelist as a dominant office. Seemingly, everyone in that era desired to be an Evangelist. There were similar challenges with all the offices at given times. Oddly, people began carrying titles of various offices but had no fruit or oil/anointing for the office they were representing. Master Builders is a Five-Set Series that will look at the office of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher on an individual basis. In this book, we are focusing on who the Prophet is, and will look at multiple Prophets, their writing, and their function. I am concerned that many will not see the correct idea of the Prophet because there are still Prophets today functioning in a post-modern image. Since many today are operating from a post-modern perspective, we will begin with the historical nature of the Prophet and gradually progress toward the post-modern information. This will ensure that you have a clear understanding of the office and the foundation upon which it was established.
