Sinopsis

The objective of this text is to teach programming by designing 3D objects. This is in contrast to traditional programming which can be abstract and boring. The visual approach covered in this text is intuitive and fun! Students not only acquire programming skills but valuable visualization and mathematical skills. You will not only learn programming constructs such as for-loops, functions, etc., but you will also be introduced to geometric primitives, Boolean operations, and transformations. You will learn to create 3D objects such as the ones below through programming. You can even 3D-print these objects if you have access to a 3D printer.
The primary audience includes middle school and high school students. The programming language is JavaScript; prior experience in programming is not needed.
