Sinopsis

Childhood exposure to the rhyme and meter of poets like Poe and Longfellow gave me a lifelong love for poetry. I retired as an RN in 2015 and have been a pastor ministering to seniors since 1996. These callings have been special to me, but the one I've felt most deeply throughout my life has been this creative call to write poetry. This is my 7th book of poems, most written between 2019-2021. As a poet, I see my calling as I do my preaching, when composing poems with a moral or spiritual message. But much humorous and experimental verse peppers these pages. In sending forth this collection, i hope the comic relief won't distract from the insights and epiphanies. And I pray the Holy Spirit uses them to inspire and enlighten my readers as He has blessed their author through writing them.
