The author is trying to see the Halal Knowledge Economy from the personal perspectives which gained from knowledge of the author in Halal industry for more than 20 years. The experiences that the author gained and collected as a trainer, practitioner, management level and Halal organization has led the interest in producing a journal or book or source of reference in expressing his view on the topic.
It is believing that certain model or concept of Halal overrated and exaggerated either due to commercial value or economic demands on it. The value of money caused the spur on the development of any activities. It will emerge the trend and demand for Halal to the societies, organizations or even to the countries. Even though, the author believes there are certain parts on Halal overrated, but at the same time, we can see that as opportunities if we really can accept the universal value from this industry.
As a Muslim, the author utterly understood that the concept of Halal is not debating and the sole right of Allah SWT but moving forward from that, let us see and study how this concept of Halal could be useful to all humankind not specifically to Muslim in terms of guideline and practices in their life.
