Waltzer Stan The Fairground Man
This is another wonderful story written and illustrated by author-illustrator John L D Barnett.
The main character young accident-prone Stanley Cupp is taken to his first funfair one day by his parents Ethel and Sidney Cupp, but Stanley falls in love with the idea of one day becoming a showman on a travelling fair and owning his own Watzer ride. The Johnny Booth travelling funfair arrived every year at the end of July near his home in the city of Sheffield and after school hours Stanley is always there waiting to lend a helping hand to set up the fairground rides.
This children's story contains many fairground photographs and is fully illustrated with funny colour cartoons and a book for all the family to enjoy.
