I Almost Overdosed on all of These Hard Pills to Swallow is about a young woman, myself, Alexei Brokelschen. Who went through a lot in her life. This story I include you in will touch many different topics. Topics which include depression, anxiety and different forms of abuse. This story is also about growth and self love. This story is solely from my perspective. These are my truths, my lies, my happiness and my sadness. Everything I speak on is from my eyes only. This story will take you back to the very beginning so that you can understand exactly where I come from. This is a story about an adult who is trying to heal from her childhood of traumas. As a adult trying to heal and grow I have realized that my life consisted of a lot of hard pills to swallow. I have learned along the way that in order to grow and properly heal I have to face some cold hard truths about life. I've learned that in order to grow it is time to take accountability for my own actions and face my problems head on. Although some of the topics I touch are harder to discuss than others I am ready to share my story. This is the story of Alexei Brokelschen.
