When the world starts to end, The Lockdown tells the story of two, separate groups of survivors that are the last of humanity to survive the most infectious plague to strike in the modern day.
The first group of survivors lucky enough to survive, take residence in the state of Maine, where, after hearing that their society has fallen to madness, decides to flee to the state of New Hampshire to seek a better chance in surviving the plague.
The second group of people who were fortunate enough to survive the devastating event is are family who are quickly taken into refugee camps by soldiers in order to escape the incurable virus.
After being woken up on their first night in the refugee campsite, they discover that other refugee's had slaughtered and taken everyone's resources for their own benefit. In an attempt to seek better shelter, they abandon the campsite and set off toward, New Hampshire, the place known by everyone, including resource-hungry looters to have the lowest count of cases than the rest of the world.
