Enter Bishop, a government operative and willing to give him a second chance. But it is of the difficult kind, a trial being held overseas in a Russian court. With only Bishop and one of his agents, Alisa, Brad is sent off to do battle in a court where the guilty verdict is in before the trial starts.

The Russian Secret Police (FSB) is looking over Brad's shoulder. In a delicate balancing act, he has to placate both the Russians and the Americans. Victory will free his friend but put many others in mortal jeopardy.
