Dr. Peters was born in small town America into a deeply religious family. He was weaned on Baptist theology from a young age and baptized at age 12. This is a deeply personal account of why in his mid 50's, Dr. Peters converted from a fundamentalist denomination to the Roman Catholic Church. He builds a powerful case for interfaith tolerance, and mutual Christian fellowship alongside those arguments and documents the incredible spiritual experiences that brought him into the Church.
