I lack the understanding why thirty-seven percent of Americans have so much dislike, hatred, and perform acts of racism against the Indigenous Native American Indian, the Alaskan Eskimo, and the Hawaiian First Inlanders.
These three classifications of people are seen as third class citizens by usually normal civilized Americans. Many Whites, Blacks, Asians, and Latinos look down at the native people and their ancient cultures. My question is why?
I mentioned this in a previous novel titled: ENDING DISCRIMINATION. In this novel: RECALLING INDIGENOUS PEOPLE more is written about the violence, and the inhuman policies against these people.
The Indigenous people were here eight to ten thousand years ago and were doing quite well until the European people brought disease, previously unknown illnesses, and death to those living here. This was still going on in the 1800s with Lewis and Clark’s arrival in the Pacific Northwest.
The Indigenous people initially walked across the land bridge and settled in which is now Canada and the United States. They have been badly treated by federal and state laws, threatened, and badgered by local, state and federal rules, and government actions. Enough is enough.
I present this novel as a book of truth and facts. However, my characters in the book make this fictitious. Enjoy reading.
