Sanae Elmoudden , Ph.D is an Assistant Chair and Associate Professor in the department of Communication Studies at St. John’s University, New York. She received her M.A. in telecommunications and Ph.D. in communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder. During the lapse time between her masters and her PhD degrees, she worked as telecommunication analyst in different global cities. Her interests are in the conjuncture of education, technologies, and communication. She conducted a Fulbright research in Morocco that investigated the offshoring of call centers and its impact on Moroccan identities. Her publications highlight intersectionality, brain diversity, inclusivity, and most recently an emphasis on generative artificial intelligence and education.
Jason S. Wrench (Ed.D., West Virginia University) is a professor in Department of Communication at the State University of New York at New Paltz. Dr. Wrench has published numerous books on a variety of communication topics: (2000, Tapestry Press), (2003, The College Network), (2008, Allyn & Bacon), (2008, 2013, 2016, & 2019, Oxford University Press), (Summer 2010, National Communication Association), (2011, 2020, Flat World Knowledge), and (2013, Allyn & Bacon; 2018, Kendall-Hunt), (2015 & 2023, Kendall Hunt), (2015 & 2023, Flat World Knowledge), (2021, Milne Open Textbooks), and (2024, University of Arizona Global Campus). Dr. Wrench is also the editor of numerous books: (2011 & 2022, Kendall Hunt), (2013, both with Praeger), (2014, Kendall Hunt), (2016, Kendall Hunt), (2018, Lexington Press), and (2021, Kendall Hunt). Dr. Wrench was the editor of the from 2005-2007, served as an associate editor for Communication Research Reports from 2007-2010, and been on the editorial board for numerous academic journals. Dr. Wrench is the past editor of the (2019-2024). Dr. Wrench has published over 40 research articles that have appeared in various journals: , , , , , , , , , and others. In addition to his academic work, Dr. Wrench is the author of ten novels, all published with Pride Publishing. In 2012, Dr. Wrench was awarded the designated position of Teaching Fellow within the Eastern Communication Association (ECA). Dr. Wrench is a former president of ECA, which is the oldest communication association in the world.
