Sinopsis
In the present paper, we propose to investigate the relationship between mass media, in all its forms, and the development of creative skills of secondary school students. Both positive aspects, such as stimulating imagination and critical thinking, as well as possible negative effects, such as excessive influence on behavioral patterns or restriction of freedom of original thought, will be explored.
Communication and media education is an important field in contemporary education, given the vital role they play in our society. This education refers to learning effective communication skills, understanding media processes, developing critical thinking and media skills, as well as awareness of the impact of mass media on the individual and society, aspects that we will aim at in the following.
