This is a seventeen-book series of four unique Brady Kent Poetry Books and thirteen Song Lyric Books.

The most popular poems from the first four Poetry Books can be listened to on Brady Kents five-minute Podcast series, ‘5 Poems in 5’. You can also listen to Brady being interviewed on radio stations in both the UK and the USA.

There are over three hundred song lyrics in the next thirteen Song Lyric Books, with one hundred and seventy of these lyrics listened to and viewed on line as Demo Songs/Lyric Videos.

Of these, ninety have now been recorded as original organic songs by Guest Musicians in their studios around the world, using Brady Kent’s lyrics.

‘Fire Escape’

Urban and Rural: Images and Poems, are the result of a joint collaboration between long term friends, Brady Kent (Poems) and John Ashton (Images)

This is the second book in the series.

Seen by some as dirty and ugly, the urban images are also graphic, geometric, stark, haunting and beautiful.

By contrast, the rural scenes are very different to the ‘chocolate box images’ we often see. Much of nature is old, decrepit, redundant and abandoned.

Each image seems to have a different story to tell, way beyond what we normally expect.

‘Gotham City’ is a surprise, whilst ‘Empty Offices’ explores an everyday issue. In ‘Last of the snow’ we read about a crime passionnel and an old lady who ‘no longer wanted to live and cry’

Dreary, one dimensional, clean and recently painted indoor stairs and escalators.

They hold no attraction for me, no romance, no heritage, no iconic film scenes. They have not earned an applause.'
