Sinopsis
The second World War begins and James (Gabe) Traynor is drafted. His experience is a totally different than his father's, in Kiss the Baby's for Me. Gabe's son, who inherits his father's name but never met him, experiences war from the sky, instead of the ground. The contrasts of each war and branches of service are remarkable, and are reflected in each letter sent home to his mother, Jessie. This historical fiction, is based on the lives of the characters as recounted through the actual letters.
