Sinopsis

THE LITTLE PRINCE, A Play in Twelve Scenes, by Gavin Bantock
New Classic Adaptations for the Stage, Vol. 9

Antoine de Sainte-Expuéry’s enchanting children’s tale for adults which is also a profound philosophical story for children.

When a plane with engine trouble lands in the Sahara desert, the pilot is astonished to meet a Little Prince who suddenly appears from nowhere.

The boy Prince tells the pilot of his adventures on seven small planets peopled with eccentric characters − a contrary Rose, a King with no subjects, a Conceited Man, a Heavy Drinker, a Businessman with little to do, a Lamp-Lighter too busy to sleep and a down-to earth Map-Maker. Later, he also encounters a well-informed Fox, and a Snake who has a fatal task to perform.

The Little Prince’s innocent wisdom reminds us of things we forgot when we grew up.

Here this world-famous and much-loved classic gem is brought vividly to life for stage performance.
