I've written it out of a lifetime of fairly intense study of Scripture as a doctoral-level seminary graduate specializing in the Greek New Testament; a preacher of many sermons; a Bible teacher in both church and college settings; a writer with commentaries on all the books of the New Testament; and a publisher and editor of numerous Bible studies. An additional, even more personal factor is that I'm more than eighty years old, and thus this topic is of heightened personal interest.
