Sinopsis
The *known* Ruedlinger family history spans dozens
of generations, across hundreds of families, with
hundreds of stories recorded for the future generations
of Ruedlingers (& other eventual descendants of mine
who don’t share my last name) who would like to know
where they came from, who their ancestors are, and/or
are proud of their ancestry. I happen to be one of them,
and as the current sole heir of my father’s Ruedlinger
family name, I have decided to take it upon myself to
record and catalogue our family’s history for my
descendants, just as many generations before me have
generously devoted their time to recording my
ancestors’ family’s history for my knowledge and
enjoyment.
I hope you find this work to be a valuable resource
when researching where you come from, but as I’m sure
you’ll come to realize, just because you’ve originated
from individuals on a particular path in life, doesn’t
mean that their choices will define who you are. That is
