Introduction to Computer Programming Using TradeStation's (R) Easy Language. (R) Learn basic programming and use of Indicators, Strategies, RadarScreen, and other features of TradeStation's Easy Language. Programming examples show how to optimize trading strategies, such as moving averages, to report the best number of time periods to use for calculating the moving average on historical data. Strategies that trade long only, short only, swing trading, as well as tempo trading are simulated using TradeStation's indicators. Additional programming examples simulating exponential moving averages, two- and three- line moving averages, and weighted moving averages, are also shown, which can run on hundreds of stocks concurrently to choose which stocks performed best over a given time period. Examples of On Balance Volume are shown graphically. Many software features of the Easy Language environment are discussed. Extensive examples using RadarScreen are presented that allow these programming simulations to run on hundreds of stocks concurrently.
