Following a midlife trauma, watercolour artist Steven Cronin suffered bouts of anxiety and sought solace in his art. Reflecting on his past experiences, ‘How Art Keeps Me Sane: A Creative Path To Mental Wellbeing’ explores how painting helped build the healing process and led him to a better place.
Key to this was community. After posting several videos on his YouTube channel addressing the subject he was overwhelmed by the reaction of viewers suffering similar difficulties and their appreciation for bringing the issues of mental health to light. Quickly it became apparent that many have found the associated benefits of art and mental wellbeing.
This book is dedicated to those afflicted and seeking a way forward through the beauty of art, community and the natural world. You are not alone.
