Welcome to Friendly Church Ministries (Paperback)

Paperback. Condición: new. Paperback. We believe in justification by faith, which means that every person can be made right with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This is not something we earn by good works, but a free gift of grace. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are forgiven of our sins and given a new relationship with God. This is the beginning of a life filled with purpose, hope, and the assurance of eternal life. At Friendly Church, we also teach and practice sanctification, the ongoing process by which believers are made holy and set apart for God's purposes. We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians grow in spiritual maturity and reflect the character of Christ. This transformation is both immediate and lifelong, as we yield ourselves to God and seek to live according to His Word. One of the defining aspects of our faith is the belief in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe that this is a distinct and empowering experience available to all believers. The baptism of the Holy Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts and boldness to share the gospel. This experience is often accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues, as described in the book of Acts. We encourage every believer to seek this empowerment to live a victorious and Spirit-filled life. This item is printed on demand.
