Sinopsis
A series of true stories from the years 1975 to 1979 of a young boy growing into a man far too quickly on the San Bernard River in Churchill, Texas. Tim, our main character, along with a ragtag and entertaining cast of friends find themselves engaged in many adventures, involving fires, car crashes, boat mishaps, mayhem and nightmares.
At age 13 Tim finds himself living alone at the family vacation home on the river, left to face the challenges of a grown man on his own. After witnessing a horrific event, Lois, a minor part of Tim's story so far, becomes a haunting thread woven throughout his life. Will the fear overcome him? Or will Tim find a way out?
River Rat will transport you back to simpler times and immerse you in a story of joy, terror, and everything in between. The ending will give you chills!
