What would a voyage to Centauri b be like? Imagine the year 2099 and the verge of space flight at light speed. Imagine a new spaceship, Interstellar, with the capacity to go to the Centauri system within several years, not thousands of years, to see if life was there. What kind of life would it be? What would these interstellar voyagers encounter on their way there? Brian finally qualified as an astronaut to explore strange new worlds. Except there was a condition. He had to go with a cyborg, Astra, who was fully functional, as the head of Galactica Inc. informed Brian. He also had to take Thing 1 and Thing 2, who were diminutive robots with zany blue hair. Brian did not want to be reminded of the Cat in Hat, so he renamed these smiling robots Number 1 and Number 2 instead. The Centauri system was 4.5 light years away, so everything had to go smoothly. There were strange creations floating around in the cosmos, one of them being Celestial City and its 50-foot beings with wings and superpowers. Brian’s ship also encountered Y and Q like in the Star Trek Next Generation, where Q just popped in and out of existence. Brian wondered if these beings were fallen angels whom God had ostracized before the creation of time. Brian hoped there would be no obstacles on his way to Centauri b. He had a long way to go, especially with crew members he had not counted on. So, let’s blast off into inter-galactic space and see if other life is really out there!
