Elevate early literacy skills with Grade 2+ Book 6 Low Frequency Spellings and Additional Affixes. There are 3 differentiated lessons for each of the following skills:

ESSA Certification from Johns Hopkins University verifying that each lesson is aligned with the Science of Reading and intentionally integrates numerous strategies recommended by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) to support learners with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
The scope and sequence of this program are closely aligned with the UFLI phonics progression as well as many other structured literacy reading programs. Elevating Fluency was written and created by a reading interventionist and literacy coach.
Highly engaging differentiated passages are provided for fluency instruction and practice. The reading passage options for each skill are approximately 60 words, 90 words, and 130 words in length. Students are given multiple opportunities to read and write words with the targeted decoding skill(s), while connecting them to language and meaningful text.
Each lesson includes accessing background knowledge, vocabulary review, phonemic awareness instruction, word-level fluency practice, connected text practice, comprehension questions, dictation, and phoneme-grapheme mapping of the targeted skill(s). Students graph their progress, which increases motivation and provides immediate feedback on their success.
This program can be used as an intervention, prevention, and extension for students in second grade and above. The lessons are complete and ready to go, making them perfect for classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, tutors, or homeschool teachers. Every aspect of the lesson is aligned with the science of reading and incorporates multiple strategies recommended by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) for students with reading difficulties, including those with dyslexia.
