Strength to Start Over: Consequences of the past - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Sérgio and Débora meet, and a great love blossoms. But incarnate beings and obsessives disapprove of this union, bringing pain and commitment to the task at hand.

Sérgio is reunited with his past-life lover, Débora. He's a military police officer, an ordinary person, but with a respectable spiritual mission, who overcomes a series of difficulties to graduate in Psychology. She's a young woman from a wealthy family who disagrees with her father's fraudulent activities. However, both families oppose this romance and do everything they can to separate them.

Planning for reincarnation is essential. Despite the help of some friends who try to support them, the disembodied spirits will do everything they can to impede Sérgio and Débora's progress. Even with the venerable entity Laryel's support, the mental torture inflicted by lower-level spirits is immense.

Débora, whose purpose in this incarnation is to support Sérgio spiritually, is led into misunderstandings and extreme trials. Meanwhile, Sérgio experiences violent torments inflicted by obsessive spirits and is tempted to commit suicide. The forces of evil weaken them...

Amidst so many events, the act of suicide is detailed from a spiritual perspective, with explanations of the feelings of guilt and disappointment after taking one's own life, the duration of the suicide's extreme suffering, the consequences on the material and spiritual planes, the power of prayer in these cases, and the goodness and justice of God, who can intervene depending on the situation. Furthermore, this work addresses psychological themes, personality disorders, and various behaviors, relating them to religion.

In easy-to-understand language and through a beautiful novel, the spirit Schellida, as psychographed by Eliana Machado Coelho, brings us impressive spiritual teachings and important insights into our immortality and the experience of the disembodied soul after suicide. It is up to God to change destiny, for it is in Him that we must seek the Strength to Begin Again.
