Her dedication to helping struggling learners succeed led to remarkable student growth, earning recognition in the top 2% of teachers in the State of Florida for moving low-performing children into confident, capable achievers.Kathy's inspiration begins at home. As a mother of two successful adult children and a grandmother to bright young girls, she sees every day how reading opens hearts, builds confidence, and helps children navigate life's challenges. Her mission is simple: to write stories that nurture curiosity and make kids excited to read more.Before writing picture books, Kathy was a published early-childhood curriculum author, creating instructional materials used by thousands of teachers across the United States and internationally.
