This is the personal story of a woman denied everything except the purpose guiding her design and creation. As a lab-grown human, she is denied everything, including a last name. Even the aidroid assigned to her is a glorified observer meant to keep her sane, trained and loyal, yet he is her only friend, a friend who could turn on her at a moment's notice if she showed the slightest hint of disloyalty to the Victs. Intentionally raised to be paranoid, Jenna must survive not only the strict surveillance state that America has become, the equally broken Captain Fred and the strange anomalies encountered on a lush green alien world that is nothing like the decaying Earth.
