Sinopsis

Levi, an only child from the water planet Indiga, arrives on Earth as a shocked foreign exchange student for his senior year with the Hopper family. He struggles to adapt to Earth's customs, noise, and animals, but bonds with the Hopper children, especially Abby. He experiences his first camping trip and shares his first kiss with Phaedra at the homecoming dance.

During a holiday visit home, Levi discovers his parents' secret: he is a galactic alliance "vessel for research" to scout Earth for resources, causing him to feel betrayed. Back on Earth, he gives an anti-bullying speech emphasizing differences after being bullied, which Phaedra later uses against him due to his "alien" status.
