Sol is a kind manatee. He loves taking care of his family and preparing recipes to share with his friends, but learning new things isn’t always easy for him. Sometimes he feels different because he can’t keep up with others. Sol discovers that, just like every creature in the sea, he has something unique that makes him special.
In this story, inspired by people with dyslexia and attention deficit, Sol learns to value himself just as he is—and to shine with his own light. Sol, the Shining Manatee is designed with inclusion in mind. That’s why we used the OpenDyslexic font, whose shapes and visual weight help reduce letter confusion.
