Outlandishly surreal - these short stabs of linguistic psychedelia and poetic virulence make my cerebral cortex itch as if infected. Darkly comic, absolutely unsettling and somehow…weirdly sexy. Creepy and irresistible.
—Lydia Lunch
Each entry in FTWHALBOE is insincere in a way that you’ve never seen. Insincere in the visionary way. Each stab at narrative here is actually a cancellation of procedure, an undecidable occurrence. But I should say less. We are all of us participants. The smart ones are all those who love the lawn mower, but refuse to eat it. On the other hand, crocodiles are immune to human suffering as they eat them, immune to the struggle of enunciation. Chains of difference overflowing. Still, vacant floral Alaska seems better veered to rim-rod victory out of the barnyard cannister. I tend to believe Jeppesen’s shepherding of our scorn – his curation, really, of our dissent – is the very thing that moves both him and us forward, into the light we might otherwise evade. I know what color his brain is. I know that morphing is a process. It is a joke that cannot be laughed at.
